Release Coordinated with New Branding and Website Redesign
AgSense® has launched a new app, “AgSense Mobile,” streamlining its smartphone and tablet interface to provide growers with the latest in precision irrigation technology.
The launch of the new app was announced by AgSense CEO Terry Schiltz at the Valley® Irrigation national meeting Jan. 5.
Among the key features of the new app are improved speed, reduced data usage, enhanced graphs of historical data, and a cleaner, more streamlined setup of end gun and VRI tables.
“Most importantly, the new AgSense app provides users additional functionality in a simpler and easy-to-use interface that eliminates many steps previously required to remotely manage their AgSense farms,” Schiltz said.
The AgSense mobile app is iPhone- and Android-compatible and can be downloaded from app stores by searching “AgSense.” The new app replaces the company’s “WagNet Mobile” app, which will also be kept available as a legacy version to users during the upcoming growing season.
In addition to the app, AgSense also revealed its new branding and insignia and released a new website, AgSense.net. The new website includes several upgrades, including a dealer locator, a resources page to locate print-ready product information, and a newsroom that features upcoming shows, news and blog posts from the AgSense team.
“The new AgSense branding, website and mobile app are all part of AgSense’s continued growth pattern and upward momentum,” Schiltz said. “Our AgSense growers pride themselves on quality work on their agricultural operations, and we are committed to reflecting that in continuous improvement of the products and services we offer.”
