Crop Health Monitoring - Questions we get asked

What's included with Plant Insights?
Plant Insights hardware is installed by your dealer and includes the following:
- Four high-resolution cameras (sensors)
- Hardware for analyzing and sending data
- Mounting hardware
All hardware has a 2-year warranty that includes repair trip charges, parts, and labor.

A software subscription is included in the first year of service. You can choose to renew your subscription each year you’d like to receive crop reports.
What crop types does Plant Insights support?
Plant Insights currently supports the following crops:
- Alfalfa
- Corn (non-seed)
- Cotton
- Potatoes
- Soybeans
- Sorghum
- Sugar beets
- Peanuts
- Dry beans
We’ll be adding more crop types and detections soon!
Does Plant Insights support fields with multiple crops?

Yes, Plant Insights supports up to two crops per field.
How often does Plant Insights monitor fields?

Plant Insights gathers thousands of leaf-level images day and night, rain or shine — any time the pivot moves.
Does Plant Insights work with any pivot brand?

Yes, Plant Insights can be installed on any pivot brand as long as a 120V AC power supply is present where necessary.
Can Plant Insights hardware be relocated each year?

Yes. We recommend you work with your local dealer to move the hardware.
